FAQs
What types of providers can I see at Legacy Mental Health?
At Legacy, we offer care through both psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners (PMHNP) for medication management, they also can provide therapy in the session, depending on the appointment type. Our providers bring expertise in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, and more.
Can I receive both medication management and therapy through your clinic?
Yes! Legacy Mental Health offers both therapy and medication management in one place. Our psychiatric providers work collaboratively to support your treatment goals, and you have an option to add therapy to your appointment.
Do you accept insurance, and how do I know if my provider is in-network?
We accept limited insurance plans, including VIVA Health, Evernorth (Cigna), and EAP sessions through Lyra Health.
We are not currently in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield due to high demand and a desire to grow our practice at a sustainable pace. You can see if your provider is in-network by going to our Providers page and clicking “Insurance accepted”.

Yes, we offer both telehealth and in-person appointments, depending on your provider and personal preference. All three of our providers are flexible and can accommodate your schedule with either option.
